Why can I not view any page hear without hearing Christmas music? Please turn it off. It drove me away.

Im glad im not the only one that can't stand this crap. It was a good song the first couple of times but damn man i want to learn about my scooter that means reading all the old threads of others problems and what they did to fix it. I DO NOT WANT CHRISTMAS MUSIC ON A SCOOTER SITE!!!!! Granted if it was only on the christmas song thread i would not mind at all but every thread in general scooter board is just too much!!!!!!  |

Nope i speak for myself notice the "I" at the beginning of my statement... Its not very "polite" to force others to listen to a song just because you like it.  Nonetheless thank you for turning off the music.  |

I WILL put it back on a little closer to Christmas and if you don't want to hear it use the "polite" suggestion that was made by another member on this thread.
Polite isn't telling me you do not want something, "polite" is "asking" about something.

I don't mind it much. But worse is all of the radio stations, stores, elevators, etc. will start playing Xmas music all the time real soon now. I don't mind Xmas music but after a while it starts to become annoying, boring and tired.
But what is starting to bug me is that I had gone to a website (I think it was Youtube at the time) and somehow they got a Jet engine flying by sound stuck in my Firefox browser. So everytime I visit certain sites such as Google for example, I get that jet flying by sound blasting through on the speakers. But I have yet to figure out what they did or how to remove it.

I didn't mind the song, JR. I did mind that you posted the youtube vid and I couldn't watch it 'cause the auto-play version wasn't synced. Or the other vids folks posted.
It was a nice thought. It just didn't quite work out well this first time. But live and learn. I have faith you'll figure out why it played in every thread, and next time get it restricted to the intended thread only.

You have to be kidding me, a post complaining about Christmas Music on a scooter site? Then called crap. It reminds me of all the other Political Correct Crap we have to put up with! Heck I wouldn't have even known about it until I saw this thread, because my speakers are muted unless I need to listen to something. So now we have to be politically correct, listen to and serve the few instead of the many.
It may be a bit early, however, I am one of the 2000 other members that will speak up and say "Good Job JR, thank you for trying to give the members the OPTION of having something to listen to while I scan the site!!! If I don't want to listen to it, I have the OPTION of turning it off!"

I am not going to complain about the Christmas music. I don't know why it was playing all the time like it was. The other videos we post don't do that. So play all the Christmas songs you want and I'll listen along, and if it messes up my music then I'll have to pick one or the other, but I won't complain because what matters is that you are trying to bring some joy to us and I appreciate that.  Muting is not an option for me though. I use my computer to listen to music and videos while I read. I turned off my TV some months ago because all there was on was mindless nonsense and politics. I don't have time for that.  I'd rather come here and talk about important stuff like scooters with you guys.  </img> |

howdy, i also didn't know the music was there because i keep the speakers off unless actively listening to something. i also didn't appreciate the leaves floating about because it was distracting to me BUT i consider it a priviledge to be here with you all and it IS your playground and it gives you pleasure to provide the "extras" so keep up the good work--
