What have you learned from watching this video and what was your favorite clip? I learned that cars will do really unexpected things and my favorite clip was at 10:40  |

Whew!
Had to watch THAT one TWICE! Some of the wrecks were due to REALLY bad manners on the part of car/truck drivers, but a LARGE number were due to REALLY bad driving on the part of the bikers. I'm amazed at how many riders just went too fast, and rode right into something in front of them. Cheesh!
My favorite is the last one, where the rider just falls off at a walking speed, then keeps dropping the bike... Reminds me of Kathy Griffin's "mating call of the college co-ed". I'm SOOOOOO drunk!!!
We all can learn something from these vids... Yup.

Stay out of the dead zone, be patient, don't show off and don't ride drunk or tired. Take an MSF type course and pay attention. Wear your gear.
Asian countries and those that use the Cyrillic alphabet do seem to be the worst at this sort of thing.

Notice, in many of these crashes, those with gear walked away fine, those without limped to the side of the road.

My favorite clip was around 5:20 Lesson(s) learned: - Motorcycle safety goes a long way
- Remain defensive while riding
- and don't do stupid things while riding (same rules applies to passengers)

The one with the bus, right? I was just looking again and at 6:25 it looks that car definitely ran that scooter off the road and into the guard rail or at least scared him into the rail by getting too close. The car moved over because a car on the other side of the road was passing. lol a chain reaction. |

almost all of these videos are from Taiwan. i even recognize these places. the standard of driving here is disgraceful. and i see at least 3 accidents a day here on my travels. at least 3! sometimes there are even fatalities. i have seen some things here and been involved in my fair share of stupid crashes. they always seem to have an excuse for why they drove straight into me when i had the right of way and my light was green an theirs wasn't. first lesson to being a foreigner in Taiwan is that this is not your country, if anything happens and its not even your fault they can and will Fk you. the next person who touches my scooter won't live long enough to call the crooked police.
