Hi all! I'm new and I hope I'm posting to the right area, if not my apologies. I recently replaced the stock air box with a high flow cone filter and rejetted to a # (from a stock #70). I also installed new unrestricted CDI, orange coil, and iridium spark plug at the same time. After making the mods, I took it out for a 10min WOT ride. The pic shows the spark plug after ride, am I running rich? Also these are the changes I noticed. The bike hesitates off idle (feels like almost a second). Once it takes off, acceleration has definitely improved. The scoot also seems to be losing acceleration at 20-25mph. Any input would help! Thanks in advance!

White porcelain means lean. Have you followed alleyoop's carb tuning instructions?

I personnally do not like plug shops because if done wrong will give you the wrong results. I do have to say for a stock 139qmb motor a # is to big of a main jet. If a #70 was in there you may want to try a #75 Main jet. Jets in the 80s and 90s are for BBKs on the 50cc motors . The black around the edge and tip says rich on the low end which can be adjusted with the fuel ratio mixture screw. my .02 Alleyoop

Thank everyone! I swapped the jet and air filter back to stock. Going to leave the unrestricted CDI, orange coil and iridium plug(although after fouling it as I did, I will be replacing that plug with a new one) and see how that goes. Also, I'm going to swap my stock Variator rollers out for 6gram sliders once I can figure out how to safely break the nut free...lol. I've tried my impact with no luck so far. I know that it's tough to get off the first time, but WOW! Any suggestions on that one?

Go to a tire shop and ask if they can give it a try .
