I believe CycleGear Bilt helmets are made in the same factory and are similarly priced with the exception that they have a 5 year replacement warranty.
One key feature to look for in a helmet is a removable washable liner and the availability of replacement liners and shields.

"...adjustable thing here"--that's so darling! Seriously, nice review. Not a helmet for me since I require modular (glasses wearer). Plus my Nolan has spoiled me with its locking click latch rather than D-rings. But I'm sure it'll help others who are trying to figure out a decent yet inexpensive helmet to get. Next helmet I get needs magic fairy dust or something that keeps me from fogging the visor. Yes, even on warm days. What can I say? I'm just that hot! >'Kat
