Scrappy's 200cc is a 170cc. I have one. He's also now selling upgrades to make it a 232cc. Boring needed, but when this one goes It's an option.

Bet a valve keeper come loose on a high rpm float and bombed the valve into the slug top. (....you dropped a valve) Even so $100 otta get you a whole new top end kit. You wont know till you take the jug off and start splitting the cases. Once I got the jug off I can feel the crank rod for play while its still in the case.Often the jug + up is all you'll need. interesting, thanks for the info. I'm guessing I should still remove the engine for that diagnosis? Anyone familiar with any good links for engine removal?

I actually got it for 25% off, and free shipping. It had a minor cosmetic blemish.

I don't. I haven't dug to much. I did replace the belt, but the one that was on there was good quality, not Chinese. I think it was a bando. The only other difference that is visible is the starter is a little bigger. And it comes with an 11 pole stator, which I took off. So far, the engine runs strong. It pulls all the way to 65 ish, and is purring at 6500 rpm's.

I'm hoping the head has the bigger intake and exhaust ports this will be significant when it comes to adding the carb later . Also it sounds as if you have plenty of power left to play with " I know I've mentioned that before " my scoot runs great but there is no way I can hit 65 at 6500 rpms " that shows me you have plenty more hp then I do " and your not even at your top rpms.
