When my sight glass broke, i just took a short bolt, 2 washers and a nut, and some JB Weld.
Put washer on bolt, place bolt inside of master cylinder/eye glass hole with threaded end sticking out the cylinder.
put on other washer and nut, tightened down.
(the JB Weld was used between the washer and the cylinder to create a leak proof seal.)
cost 0.00 (had em in my tool box)
Besides, who needs a sight glass
In this case, it was function over form
