Yes there are so many different scoots with different names they don't have them all in their database. I had trouble with my Trike getting insurance because it was one of the first Trikes coming into the states back in 2009 so they called Ice Bear, they just wanted to know the valve of it is all so it is insured for 3 grand. Instead of telling me how I've committed a felony and am now facing 20 imprisonment, tell me how would you have done things better? How would you have legally titled a scooter in which you had no original bill of sale and no means of acquiring one? Filled out the required paperwork for dealing with a lost bill of sale and told the truth when asked that no I did not have the bill of sale instead of producing a fake one and then rolled with it taking my lumps. I would not have pulled in a friend to assist in the deception either. No scooter is worth passing falsified documents on. If the penalty for my carelessness with the paperwork was then not being able to title the bike then so be it since it would have been my own fault. That is part of the learning experience that will make one more careful about these things in the future.
