Hey all,
I'm new to scooters and virtually new to scooters/cycles. I had a Honda Trail 70 way back in the early 80's as a kid, but nada since then and now I'm inching toward 50.
I've been reading a TON about scoots and have about decided on one of the bigger Ice Bear 150's (I'm 6'1" and 280 ish) scoots to go back/forth to work, which is only 3-4 miles away.
I'm not worried about maintaining highway speed - the limit is 30-45 mph the whole way, but there are several STEEP hills from my home to work.
Is a 150cc China scoot enough?
I'm not scared off by maintanance work - I've restored a car or two in my day and have rebuilt outboard motors, car motors and rewired all kinds of stuff.
I also like the Tao Tao Evo, which seems to be popular.
Opinions?
Thanks!
Chris

A 150 will do you just fine, if going up a hill it slows down to much just put in lighter weights to bring up the rpms. Going up a hill you do not want to loose to many RPMS maybe a couple of hundred and only loose mph you need the power to pull the weight up the hill. Alleyoop
