Alsakus, all 3 carbs are the same carb so any of the three If you going to get a new carb get CARB a 24.00 free shipping the cheapest of the 3 and they are all the same carb But I have to question why you need a new carb. With a new carb you will still have to adjust it no getting around that. The carbs are actually very simple you only have a couple things that can cause problems and it could happen to a new carb as well. The thing with ANY carb is do not allow small partials to get to the carb and in order for that not to happen you have to have a GOOD FUEL FILTER. I use nothing but VISU Fuel Filters they are strong as heck and trap everything ALSO the good thing is you can backflush them and clean them out and reuse them. In over 4 years I have not had to take off the carb to clean it AND I HAVE TO SAY I have a carb JUST LIKE the ones you posted on there. Changed the Pilot Jet and Main Jet but only because of the BBK on my motor. So all toll that cheap carb I have about 9K miles and all I do is summer I adjust the Fuel Mixture Leaner and cold weather in the fall Richer that is it. So I suggest you learn to clean the PILOT JET and its PASSAGE and it is very simple. Get a Can of carb cleaner they come with a LONG thin straw Stick the straw in the pilot jet and Spray and with your hand open the butterfly to expose the other tiny fuel outlets and when spray comes out of those your are clean and clear. Alleyoop Also from the other SIDE the air intake side SPRAY into the AIR HOLES as well. Some folks run them without a air filter and dirt can get into the air holes and block the air passages. Spray into the Pilot Jet and spray should come out of the tiny holes by the butterfly: Spray into the Main Jet and spray chould come out by the Needle and Needle guide You may have to lift the slide up with your hands if the needle is a tight fit in the defuser.

I had the same exact issue. Literally built the whole 83CC kit this weekend with the new carb but throttle cable wasn't long enough so I went back to old carb and could not get it to start. Tore the whole thing down and went back to old head and cylinder but with new cam, CDI, coil but STILL no start. Just cranks and cranks. Then I figured what the I've tried everything (vaccum, gas pumping out of the tube, valves, etc.) Put the new carb on and boom started right up! So obviously my issue is the old carb. Now I've got to tear the whole thing back down again and put the new head and cylinder in and try again with new carb.

FANTASTIC!! Now that it is running adjust your carbs fuel ratio mixture follow this procedure print it out if you have to and take your time 1/4 turns at a time from where it is currently sit at. ON THE FIRST 1/4 TURN FROM where it is at IF IT DIES or GETS WORSE GO THE OTHER WAY. Alleyoop itistheride.boards.net/thread/12/4ts-carb-tuning

so to update... I ended up calling partsforscooters.com (they are across town) to try and grab a couple upgrade jets. They dont do will-call for locals anymore so gave me the number of local sellers, and i ended up just buying a whole carb off a repair shop right down the street - even found a local gas station that sells ethanol free in the process. Tossed it on and fired right up! I've gotten in a couple rides and everything close to dialed in on air/fuel etc. its been running really great and im able to enjoy my scoot. But.. now im back to where I started with the electric start not working. ...at least i can kick start it and ride. Thanks for all the help in getting me back on the road - everyone really helped and made it much easier!

Check for faulty voltage regulator..even your cdi is linked to it and a faulty voltage regulator can cause a No start issue but give a spark just not strong enough to ignite a start.
