Its not the rings or the cylinder. I've tried spares or both. Its not the head, I tried a spare of that too, its not the gasket because I have spares of that too. What caused me to loos sudden compression and never gain it back??? My bike died at a light. I though I blew the engine so I checked it out and everything was fine. Turns out it was getting no spark. So I checked the plug and it barely had a gap. fixed that and got spark and now there is not enough compression to push my finger off of the spark plug hole. Checked the valves and it looks as if it hit the plug.

sounds like the piston hit the plug and crack the piston.......thats why the gap went away....

might of "dropped" a valve. Last time I had one tear up a plug like that, I sheared a valve off and it put a hole in a piston. Nothing left of the top end when it was done.

Ok, sounds like maybe a dropped valve easy enough to check take the valve cover off. Alleyoop
