Hey guys I got a Kymco Agility 50 that now has low compression so I think its time to do a rebuild. And hey why not do a 80cc BBK since i'm buying all new parts in any case. My questions are not how to install a bbk because I have done it before. When I did one on another bike I noticed immediate acceleration difference, but top end was still circa 30mph. This was with everything else stock except an upjet and the top end rebuild. My question is, if I want this thing to do 40mph and I put in an 80cc bbk what other mods do I need to do to get it to that point. (gearing ratio is out of the question, i refuse to ever open that thing again) Like should I get a performace pipe and a free flow filter? Or just drill holes into my airbox? Or just drill holes into exhaust? Ofcourse slightly heavier roller weights/sliders I've been trying to find the right thread because I know someone has asked this question already I just cant find it. Basically my bottom line is , what im your opinion will give me the most bang for my buck in other mods to compliment the 8cc bbk.

Why not just start with the BBK and see what that Kymco will do.....probably a bit higher quality drivetrain etc. than a typical scoot from Twi Kain Shjeng China or there bouts.... Then go from there..... Might be surprised.....

On a Kymco agility you get a huge gain with a 47mm bbk, the only problem is the CDI unit, it needs to be changed to an un-restricted model which are not the easiest to find. Also the correct carb and jetting One of my customers has 37000km on my 47mm bbk, after CDI replacement it will do 45 on flat ground with a 220lb rider

I decided to buy a BBK some 7.5gram roller weights a set of jets and maybe a belt. I think the one on there is a bit too worn. However the belt that comes with the scooter is almost is expensive as the bbk (only 50 bucks) but still, $50 for a belt? Is there anyway I can use a size very similar to it? The current belt is a 748-18-28
