In restoring a '07 54B I noticed the rear wheel is out of true with a flat spot on it. This won't make for a very smooth ride although I haven't had it out to try it yet. Where, other than the over-priced Roketa website, can I get a wheel that fits?

I am not familiar with the 250B, but I looked high and wide for a back wheel for my Vog260. I ended up with this, which says it will fit yours: madhouseparts.com/13-Scooter-Rear-Rim-Roketa-VOG-Xyingue-p690.htmlOne thing you must keep in mind is the disk-brake attachment holes with your current wheel. Some have 5 and some have 3 so you'll either need to get one with the same or you'll need to order the matching disc.. Also, although this wheel came from madhouse, the return address was from Scrappydog's parent company. That pissed me off because Scrappy sells a wheel with a three hole disc brake pattern (http://www.scrappydogscooters.com/LH170MN_Linhai_257___275.html) for much less. You might give them a call. Anyway, that's a start. You might also touch base with Tvnacman and his testedscooterparts website or one of the other vendors here.

Where, other than the over-priced Roketa website, can I get a wheel that fits? Going on the presumption that you mean the actual WHEEL (rim) and not the tire, I'm only finding two sources for 'new' replacement parts. (I haven't shopped Ebay, Amazon, or anything similar, though none of those returned a hit in a search). the actual Mfg. part number for the rear wheel is: MC-54B-250-03-48. As i said...I found two sources. One is rather overpriced as you mentioned ($231 + Shipping). The other one seems quite reasonable ($110 + Shipping). But here's the kicker: They are both the same company! There will be a few more hoops to jump through to buy from the cheaper storefront...they want you to 'create an account'. The decision is yours as to whether the $120 savings is worth the extra effort!

My 54B is a VOG clone, and I got the rear wheel from Scrappydogscooters.

My 54B is a VOG clone, and I got the rear wheel from Scrappydogscooters. I saw that one, not a bad deal just wasn't sure it would fit the same. Thanks for the info, I will order one.

Just make sure you replace that axle nut! My original kept working loose and that's what caused my wheel to strip out.

The rear wheel needs blue loctite when you install the nut. Then check it every time you think about it, check by moving the wheel side to side. Once you tighten the nut do not turn it again, as it will break the loctite and cause the nut to loosen. Enjoy...

Did you ever find a new rim for your bike? I'm going to be parting out my 2013 Jonway YY250T (MC-54 style) scooter soon if my attempt to purchase a replacement goes through...
I can take some pics if you are interested. I'll try to dig up a price+shipping for you if mine would work on your bike and you are in the ConUS.
Note that this is the 244cc mc54 style, not the 54b with the linhai motor. Not sure if the wheels are interchangeable.
