I was riding my 49cc 2010 Eton Beamer III down a local street when a car cut me off, to avoid a collision I bailed to the right and slammed my muffler on the curb, the result wasn't good. My exhaust bracket made out of aluminum metal snapped off and the bolts took the aluminum metal with it that I needed to alumiweld it. I was wondering if anyone had a solution to my problem, any ideas are greatly appreciated.

While my local AAA mufflershop does not routinely work on motorcycles or scoots, they will if asked help 99% of the time. They have even fixed broken metal chairs for me. I don't know if your local muffler shop will be as co-operative but you won't know till you ask.

That passenger footpeg mount shows promise. Maybe find something else closer to the back for additional support. It may be long and unsightly, but there are options if you are creative. You'll need to fashion a bracket out of some 1 inch wide bar. Forget about repairing that broken part reliably.

I would say glue the broken off bits back and glue 2 steel plate one each side with holes to match up to the muffler bracket and 2xnuts and bolts to take the strain off the glue
or another crankcase all the best

You can replace the section of the engine case . It maybe a little more work but better in the end for piece of mind .
Check testedscooterparts.com check item number 10563526 . From now till fathers day its 20% off .

I did not see the other bolt so I would put a flat piece of bar under both of those two nuts and that will hold the muffler up and then another bracket on the bottom screw that holds the fan cover. Click on the picture to make it larger to see better. Alleyoop

Click Here: I've constructed a makeshift muffler with some pipe and a muffler. I welded the tip of the old muffler exiting the motor to the pipe and attached a muffler to the end. I appreciate all the replies and help guys. Thanks.

Is there anyway I can make my muffler quieter without building a whole new muffler? Like an attachment or something?

You better support that whole thing otherwise you are going to RIP the STUDS right out of the head. Alleyoop

I'm currently working on that, but I first need to silence the exhaust a little bit more.
