So know nothing about it. Can you fill me in? like best camshaft, valve clearance, spark plug type, known problems, ect.

The 157QMJ is a very common motor you will find on the 150s. There are performance parts galore, you can have the case bored out like I did and create a very nice reliable motor that is a lot stronger. I would only bore it out to fit a 62mm BBK if you bore it out to fit a 63 not much meat will be left by the bolt holes and the chain guide side. But to get more displacement you can put in a stroker mine has the 60mm stroker so It brought up the displacement from a 149.6cc to 182cc.
