That one comes up when I search for the article I mentioned but the one which I believe had a pic of a yellow T-Max as the lead on it I have not been able to find again. I know I sent it out via email to some friends however a Outlook Folder Compression error wiped out my arhive of saved sent items so I lost the link that I had saved. I searched every combination of editor, maxi scooter, sportbike magazine writers, etc, etc, etc, etc. (even schlepped through google images hoping to backtrack it by the pictures...NO luck!) I have the sneaking suspicion that it been deleted, otherwise it's been hidden where no one can find it.

I have also spent hours searching for editors, scooter, race and such with no good hits.

I was impressed after looking further into the Ninja 250 and Honda CBR 250. The Ninjette can hit 100 mph (eventually). The Honda has less top speed but has more torque for urban commuting. I guess the Ninja 300 will ton up a lot quicker.

I guess the Ninja 300 will ton up a lot quicker. What I find interesting is how the Italian 250cc scooters can match the Nija 250 and even at times outclass it and even more interesting in normal driving match some of the entry level 600cc bikes. On the road I had a kid on a 600 finally catch up to me to tell me my 750 was nice and made him wish he had gone for the 750 instead of the 600. When he finally realized that I was on a scooter and asked: "Is that a 750?" and I told him no just a 250 so he asked who made it, he then took comfort in the thought that an Aprilia is like a Ducati. I'd like to get to ride a 150+ mph Aprilia Chesterfield 250 just once to see what its like. It might be fun to see the reaction of some on the 750cc and 1 liter bikes having trouble tracking with a 250cc Super Bike.

Hey riders...
I found these in the Internet news yesterday...
Looks like the Harley "Baby Sportster" is on the market now! From INDIA... That doesn't make it an "INDIAN"... LOL! But a 500 or 750cc Sporty is MIGHTY appealing to those wanting the "Real Deal" V-Twin in a more manageable size...
And the new Honda NM4... a 670cc twin scooter? Whatever it is, it's neat! I'm pretty sure that strange rider seat-back folds down to become a passenger "pillion-pad" seat. Folded down, the bike would look GREAT!
Either of these would make nice rides for scooter-jockeys looking to "upsize" to a Harley-style motorcycle, or a BIG scooter!
The Honda showed a price of $10,000, but the Harley had no price listed. Knowing HD, it's probably pretty pricey...
Worth looking at anyway...

The Honda is a DCT drive that has to shift gears not a CVT. The early versions of the automatic shifted out of first and second a bit prematurely according to a number of reviewers and the engine would rumble and buzz in rebellion to the early shifts giving lackluster performance. Still might help the Aprilia Mana gain momentum with its smoother computer controlled CVT.

I had a 02'Kawasaki Ninja 900R that did well into the low 10's in 1/4 mile,,also a couple Harleys and a big Honda VTX 1800. The Ninja would do over mph in first gear and had six...I sold them all,,this 150 scooter is no where close the speed of any of those bikes but on a fun level from one to ten its a 20,,If something where to happen to it,,I would buy a new one tomorrow. Most fun I ever had on a two wheeled motorized bike is a chinese scooter,,and for $1000 you just have to LYAO all the way down the road when the big dawgs wont wave anymore Funny thing is when nobody else is around and its just me passing up one other bike on the road early in the morning he will wave,,but when they are with friends in a group they never wave,,so that tells me its all about impressing their friends, being too cool to wave at a scooter,I assume they all have the small you know what syndrome.. Everywhere I go people are asking me where I got it,how much,do you need a license, how fast does it go,,it gets more attention than any of my other big bikes ever did,,I must have sold 15 of these taotao's in the last 2 years for the vendor.

Jersey - About the same with the Aprilia. Passerbys going the other way sometimes wave while once they catch up the questions from those following behind start and if your stopped for gas or in a parking lot it usually ends up going to is that a 750 (no its 250cc) top speed (almost 100), economy (65 to 80 mpg), cost ($2,999) and where can I buy one.
It can break the legally posted speed limit by 25 to 50 mph and is great fun to ride so what more do I really need?
I wish I had a commision on each one I sold.
