I tried the tinypic link but it immediately launched a stream of adware/malware offering prizes, etc. Without photos, this new ProBoard site is really hard to use. There must be more light-weight forum board systems available? This one is a real anti-user beast, especially if we have to link up with tinypic. Most systems now have integrated image uploads which are easy to use.

The old proboards V4 was the same you need a host to get the LINK FROM to post it here. Even on the old SD it was the same. You cannot just take a picture and post it on here, that would be a very bad security breach because then someone could go to your picture that points to someplace on your computer and get all your information off of it or trash your computer. So I don't know what your talking about but people use PHOTOBUCKET, TINEYPIC, FLICKER, and many other HOSTs to first load up their pictures and or Videos and then post them here. Alleyoop

OK. what you have is the Vacuum controlling several things and are connected to ONE VACUUM supply coming from the INTAKE MANIFOLD. NOT A PROBLEM. 1. Take the hose coming off the TANK that goes to that little cylinder disconnect it from the little canister there and put a fuel filter on the end of that hose(THAT IS YOUR GAS TANK VENT SYSTEM) and zip tie it so it vents ....but thats connected to the big canister? im slightly confused on this one? so the filter acts like a vent??2. Take the hose that goes to the AIR FILTER TUBING take it off there and plug the CONNECTOR on the AIR TUBING ....do u mean take off the Tee? its a tee on the air tubing part3. Take the VACUUM HOSE going to the connector that THEN SPLITS ALL OVER the place and disconnect it from the connecter and PLUG the VACUUM hose ....when u say "connector" is that the tee?NOW YOU SHOULD be able to take the big canister off the Valve on the side and the little canister off ....'the valve' do u mean the black medium size round canister (plastic) the one in my video rite next to the petcock? i didnt see a comma after the word 'off', making sure and how can i take out the big canister if the tank vent line is still connected? You should then have ONLY TWO VACUMM hoses connected: 1. One Vacuum hose going to the PETCOCK to feed the carb fuel. 2. One Vacuum hose going to the RIGHT side of the Carb to the ACV valve. and that is it ....what about the gas tank vent line, im confused on that lineBest setup is something like mine One Vacuum hose coming from the INTAKE MANIFOLD to a "T" or a "Y". Then From the "T" or "Y" one hose goes to the PETCOCK and one hose goes to the ACV valve on the right side of your carb and that is it .... WOW nice & simple set up, thats what i likeAlleyoop read red letters ^^^

Yes the Fuel Filter will keep dirt out and act like a VENT. and all those hoses and little canisters and big canisters are going bye bye. 2. Yes take off the "T" on the AIR TUBING and plug that hole ON THE AIR TUBING. 3. Connectors equal "T"s or "Y"s or anything that a VACUUM HOSE is connected to. THE GAS TANK VENT LINE you disconnected it by the LITTLE CANISTER right near the TANK. and the line going to the little canister you add a fuel filter so it VENTS answer is #1. alleyoop You will then have A VACUUM LINE going to the PETCOCK and one to the ACV VALVE on the SIDE of the CARB here:

Trace the hoses. Looks like it may be an evap system, but I can't tell where the hoses are going.

Jerry is correct that is a EVAP system(GAS TANK VENT and RETURN) find the hose going to the tank and take that off that VALVE and put a fuel Filter on the end of that hose and zip tie it little higher than the outlet of the tank. Then find the VACUUM hose on it and follow it down and plug it at its ORGIN. If there is a hose going to the AIR BOX or TUBING take it off there and plug it at the AIR BOX or TUBING then take the whole thing off. Alleyoop

one of the 3 hoses on that canister goes to my CVT, another goes to my air box and the other goes to a Tee?

Ok, the hose coming from the tank that you disconnected the little canister you put a fuel filter on the end of the hose coming from the fuel tank. The rest of the that hose on the other side you can just pull out not needed anymore.
Now on the AIR TUBING with the two V white connectors you have to plug those up because that is now open and more air is getting into the motor.
Now on the other side that little black valve next to the petcock goes bye by all those hoses and things come off .
Then the PETCOCK VACUMM hose like you said goes to the "T" and the other side of the "T" goes to the CARBs ACV valve. So now you should have ONE VACUUM HOSE from the INTAKE MANIFOLD going to the "T" and the "T" splits going to the PETCOCK and the ACV valve on the carb. and that is all the VACUUM you should have.
What you had was ONE VALVE the one by the petcock controlling VACUUM to all the other things that needed vacuum. Alleyoop

Alleyoop ok i think i understand, 2 questions: 1. so the cvt hose goes bye bye as well? 2. which way do i put the flow arrow on the fuel filter on the end of the hose? flow going towards the tank or the other way? does it matter? BTW...i will make a video of your egr removal advice before i even turn on the scoot
