i torqued to 19 ft lb. and none of the threads were stripped inside or out of case, studs, or nuts. there was just one stud that doesnt get the pressure required to click my torqe wrench, i think its just stretching the stud to the point where its about to break so i ordered more. but im more worried about why the damage is being done to my jug and piston and whats causing it, do you think its the one stud not being tight enough? it still gets tight, probly about 15 ft lbs but not where it should be ya I think thats it. its not just torque but if the stud is weakened from stretching its not going to hold right
