I'm hoping to by a Roketa MC-54B in a few months and I was wondering if a full face helmet fits under the seat or in the trunk (newer style that is more flat and rectangular).
Also, any good pannier options for this bike? EBay turns up a few soft bag options. A Google image search for MC-54B panniers has a result of a white bike with hard panniers. Are these available anywhere? I'll try linking to the picture later. Speaking of white, where can I find this bike in white? So far I've only seen the standard black, silver, blue, and red.
Thanks!

I have the MC-54-250B scooter, the helmet will not fit under the seat, and thev colors you mention is all the colors you can get. Some have a hook on the sise of seat to hang the helmet on.

Flatland2d,
Welcome to the site!
I also wanted more storage on my old Kymco Grandvista 250. Not much storage under the seat. I added the largest accessory trunk I could find, off eBay, and it will hold 2 full-face helmets, or a good load of groceries. I also recently added a pair of soft-vinyl saddlebags off eBay. They add quite a bit of extra storage.
They are the generic "throw-over" style, set under the seat, and adjusted for a wider "bridge" with parachute cord. This allows easy adjustment to level them on the up-swept scooter rear plastics. The trunk, plus the saddlebags give a really decent amount of storage. Maybe something similar would work for you.
Ride safe!

Spunn,
Thanks! Old "Minnie Mouse" gets me around pretty well! And now has plenty of storage...
Flat-floor, step-through scooters are NOT quite the most stylish ride, but these days, arthritis and old-age about keeps me from climbing onto a regular motorcycle, or even a scooter with a frame "hump" in the floor. My old Xingyue 150 was the "ideal" ride for me, EXCEPT it just couldn't safely keep up with traffic.
After riding it six years, I decided to find a similar scooter, but with 70mph cruising capability for those times I just need to run with faster traffic. The old, out-of-production Kymco Grandvista 250 turned out to be a good alternative. Many riders don't like them because for some reason, they are strangely designed "ergonomically" for someone who is tall, but has short legs. Well, that's ME... LOL!
The Grandvista is VERY similar in size, handling and appearance to the generic Chinese 150. THAT is probably the reason they stopped making them... LOL! But THAT is just what I was looking for. I just can't resist making her a little more "old-school" American with a few little cosmetics...
I've had "Minnie" now since last December and put a thousand happy miles on her. She's OLD, well-worn and outdated, but then so am I... LOL! We're a good pair. Unlike myself, the old Kymco seems to be indestructible. She's built like a tank.
Ride safe!

oldchopperguy Thanks for the pics. Since posting this, I came to the conclusion that the trunk the MC-54 comes with is said to be pretty poor and not worth keeping, so I may as well upgrade to a larger one with better quality. I've been looking at the exact trunk you have and others similar to it. I basically want to be able to fit two full size helmets and have full lights hooked up. As for the panniers, I realized I got much better search results when searching for hard saddle bags instead of panniers. I'm looking at getting something like this below. They even have lights you can hook up as well, but only brake, tail, or turn signal (not more than one). I don't think I'll really need this much storage, but I think it's cool to have and makes the bigger 250cc scooter look a little more like a touring motorcycle.

Flatland, you may want to contact JR an admin. for this forum he has a 54B also and has these hard cases or something similar but if I remember , he had to have some welding done to get the brackets to fit, but they look really nice when their done. Dan.

Flatland2d,
The large trunk on mine appears on eBay under numerous "brands"... From $79 to around $400 if it is "branded" Harley Davidson, or Honda... LOL! I went with the $79 version! It IS Chinese, but of EXCELLENT quality. Just proves again that China will provide ANY level of quality you're willing to pay for... It comes with a nice, built-in LED light in the lid, but I did the full "Christmas tree" lighting behind the monster fake wrap-around light as well as strip amber turn-signals. It's VERY easy with modern thin LED's. I did place a trailer-plug into the wiring pigtail so the lights could be disconnected, as the trunk can be removed. It uses a "mono-key" style disconnect.
Here's how it looks at night. I took pix for a thread on illuminating a trunk...
As for the hard saddlebags you found, they ARE a NICE addition! And can be painted to match your scooter, or flat-black to match the seat, or whatever look you like. Also, the fiberglass or ABS construction makes it super-easy to illuminate them if you like. LED's are the greatest invention for low-drain extra lighting on vehicles since the sun... LOL!
I would check with JR. His scoot sports bags much like those you like. They WILL require some kind of mounts to be fabricated though. Shouldn't be too hard.
Whatever trunk, or "top-box" you use, I highly recommend plenty of illumination. I did that with the trunk on my old 150 too. Having tail-light, stop-light and turn-signals up at car "windshield-level" can save your life! A large trunk virtually hides your factory rear-lights from a vehicle "tailgating" you, ESPECIALLY a tall SUV or truck.
Ride safe, and keep it lit-up!

Dan. Yes he did a very nice job all in stainless steel if I remember correctly. JR how about a long term report on them? How are them holding up?

Spunn,
I'm not familiar with the Majesty, but it's a HUGE scooter... This trunk and mount fit the vast majority of all typical luggage racks found on generic 150's.
My old Kymco 250 has a forged-aluminum luggage rack with built-in back-rest, but the flat area is STILL the same as my old Chinese 150. So... If the Majesty has a rack that's at all similar to the common ones, this trunk should fit (and it would look "right" on the BIG scooter).
It's VERY "adaptable"...

I got a direct replacement for the large trunk from an eBay seller for about $125. They claim that they use higher grade plastic than the original. So far it has held up well.
Regarding the hook for hanging a helmet: There's a slot under the left side of the seat that was designed for a special hook to be placed in it. You put the hook through the D-ring of your helmet, then drop the hook into the slot and lock the seat. I found that an old Toyota ignition key is a pretty good substitute for the helmet hook, which, as far as I can tell, is never actually supplied with these Chinese Reflex clones...

Would not use a helmet hook myself as there are too many vermin here in Semi-Tropical Florida that would try to nest in a nice cozy helmet hanging out in the open on the side of a bike here especially if parked under a nice shady spot. The ride is a lot nicer when you start off with a clean cool helmet stored inside a nice clean air conditioned space than hot one potentially with a poisonous spider or snake staking out squatters rights in it.
