Have posed this question in other forums & have got some replies. I'd like your opinions as well to arrive at a general consensus.
I have a Chinese 2007, Sunl, Adventure, LB150T-12; 157QMJ, with a 150 cc GY6 engine. The scoot is equipped with all stock parts. No modifications of any kind. I just attached a tachometer to the scoot, as this model didn't come with one.
Now I wonder what the most economical RPM is to operate the scoot.

I haven't seen anyone post a chart that would show that, but you have your tach so you could make one.
More important than your steady RPMs is your driving style in regards to acceleration. Going WOT at takeoff feeds more gas than can be utilized by the engine at low RPMs. According to studies, you reduce your mileage by 30-35% with hard acceleration in the average vehicle, though I've not seen one specific to scooters. Gentle acceleration will always give the best gas mileage.

Depends on the scooter. Every engine is different. Same applies to cars, trucks, ect.
