I own a 2008 JCL 250cc (I'm aware it is a chinese scooter.. I got it for a good price as a practice scooter)
I've had a pretty good experience with this scooter besides the fact that I live off of a dirt road and need to take a rather lengthy set of dirt hills with loose rocks/dirt... It makes for an easy wreck on the way to the street.
Are there any 4.00-12 tires or any that might fit my scooter that would be better suited for dual sport or at least increased tread so I don't kill myself every day on my way to the street?
Thanks alot!

howdy, in case no-one has welcomed you to the forum , I do so now and am not able to help with the info you request. I suggest you would find that info on-line by searching based on the tire size. I think some of the ruckus type scoots use that size.
lotsa miles and smiles to ya ken

Kenda tires make a dual sports tire front or back.

Yes, you can get some dirt tires which the threads are more pronounced so they will grab rocks and dirt better. You do not want to get to nubby of tires for the asphalt part of your ride. Alleyoop
