The Winter Garden salvage yard, A.K.A. Budget U-Pull It, started carrying scooters about a week ago. They are hoping to stock common motorcycles soon as well. Today I made a pretty darn good haul, a complete GY6 with good compression, carburetor, stator and flywheel for $35, kick starter in tact as well. (Doing a bench test on that tomorrow) Also, the rear shock, wheel and tire (in good shape for used) for $10, and a set of rear view mirrors for $5. $50 in total. There were 19 scooters there, they JUST started this so I'm sure the collection will grow. Also, EVERY one of them still had the engine attached. A Verucci, a chinese Vespa knock off (though not a GY6, didn't recognize the engine), three 2-strokes and two or three 150cc scoots there as well. One had speakers in the leg space, I wish I could have taken but I know they wouldn't fit in my scoot, lol. FLAT RATE: $35 for ANY engine, which includes the carb, flywheel, stator. $10 for a wheel/tire $5 for accessories. Now I don't know if there's like, anyone on this forum in the Central FL area but if so, definitely check it out! In fact, if you live too far a way to come for a browse, I'm willing to take pictures for you next time I'm there, just let me know. -Outbak

Wish we had a place like that in the panhandle. I'd go crazy in a place like that. I'm stuck with people wanting 200 for a parts scooter.
