You need the crank, gasket set the case gaskets break when you split the case and the spacer. Are the case gaskets included with a gasket kit? When I ordered my gasket kit when we did my 61mm rebuild, I'm not sure if the case gaskets were included, it was a NCY 61 gasket kit.

The ncy gasket set will have all the gaskets you need I'll put up all the links for everything you'll need from scooter elements.

I would probably get all my parts from walt at scooterelements, but I didnt see a spacer for the 61mm bbk. The only one I seen was for 63 I believe...

The 63 is what I used that spacer works fine I high temp gasket sealed everything, just don't block the oil passage.

What I don't get is, what good is there being a 4mm stroker crankshaft if we cant use it? I would like to get the extra 6 cc's if possible? I dont mind paying more for the 4mm crank over the 3mm. I understand getting the spacer, gaskets for both sides are included (pictures on ScooterElements show gaskets with the spacer) 61mm full gasket set. If the stock link chain won't work with a 4mm crankshaft, couldn't the 92 link chainwork? If there is slack using a 92 link chain, couldnt there be an adjustent somehow? Walt listed a 61mm kit with the 3mm stroker crank, in the list it said Kymco 94 chain? Why would that 3mm crankshaft need a 94 link chain? I dont mind some extra stuff/work, for a 4mm stroker, I just dont wanna have to shave no piston and stuff. Getting the spacer, 92 link chain, etc. wouldnt that be enough for a 4mm? Sorry guys if I'm being aggravating, I just want the most out of my 61bbk thats all, and going the 4mm direction if at all possible.

Scooter elements uses the 94 link chain because the taida big valve head is wider, you'd need a 94 link chain with a stock crank with that head. You can do the 4mm and a 92 link chain but will have to mod the chain tensioner or pray your stock chain holds up.

You can add one .5mm gasket with the spacer and get the correct clearance for the 4mm crankshaft and gasket seal the other side use the 92 link chain and mod the tensioner or hope and pray the stock chain stretches. I don't like to worry if the chain will hold up over 6cc. Or get the 4mm and use 3 or 4 paper gaskets. All I know is that the 3mm works great with the spacer no gaskets and rtv mine runs like a beast.

Anyways, my Mechanic, that use to be the local scooter guy in our town (til he moved) will be coming back to visit, he will be performing the stroker install on my scooter. I've been asking him which to go with, and we both decided to go the 4mm stroker route. He has done plenty of strokers, bbk's, and extensive motor work on cars and trucks, and pretty much anything mechanical. He told me qoute: "whatever we run into I'll take care of" So, I'm going to do the 4mm and let him have at it! I'm paying him, plus he is a dear friend as well. I just have to make sure that I have the crankshaft, 92 link chain, spacer, 61mm gasket kit, etc. Is the spacer on ScooterElements the only size that I will need? Also, are there anymore parts that I need? I wish Walt had a phone number.....
