Had problems with the exhaust pipe breaking and needing replacement. I had the screws in super tight not expecting for it to break, long story short when I put the new pipe on the screw holes were stripped and un-usable. How would I go about solving this? Slightly larger screws? I think they were m-10's. They require an Allen wrench.

You'd have to drill out the holes and re-cut the threads to use larger bolts. You could try some thread-cutting screws (they make them with bolt heads) but how well they hold up will depend on how well the muffler can is mounted and how much vibration it sees.

Where on the exhaust system are the holes stripped? Are you talking about the two stud holes on the head where you bolt the pipes Flange? Or back by the muffler area? Alleyoop

I prefer helicoil inserts and set them with red Locktite. I used these on my ultralight engines with great success.

Yes the helicoil inserts work great and they are steel, but you do have to drill the hole to screw in the helicoil. Alleyoop
