Recently found these at our local walmart. Very easy hookup and 55 watt. work perfectly I placed mine under the front headlights link to driving lights

Wow! Unless you removed other loads that is an extra 110 watt load on the alternator. That will certainly unload the voltage regulator and let it run cooler. Keep jumper cables with you and use a battery tender when you put it away.

I do not use the extra lights daily and posted it as a option .

You called them driving lights, and driving lights are wired to run all the time on any vehicle I have been around. Since you put a laughter smiley a the end of your post please tell me what the joke is so I can see the joke in my reply too.
