I have an '05 Wildfire Scooter. I bought two for a steal and they both run. My issue is on start up. The only way I can get them to start is by spraying carb. cleaner into the carb. They fire right up and run great. Why is this? Any suggestions on how to fix it?

Do they have an ENRICHER(CHOKE) on the carbs check and make sure they are plugged in and or working. The ENRICHERs feed fuel for cold starts. Alleyoop

I can check, but I am not thinking there is a choke on this scooter.

DX either 2T or 4T that's what they look like but the carb itself might look different

So it does have a choke. How do I tell if it is working properly or not? Also, how do I test if the carb is pulling in gas like it should? One of the lines has a cup looking thing with a lid, but it doesn't have gas in it. Should it?

I feel like there is no suction going into the carb.
