I'm curious about this, does it use the 6mm spacer, shaved piston or is it a special jug to give clearance?

The cylinder is actually taller with a kind of built in spacer. No shaving no nothing. Its install and go! You only use the 6mm spacer when installing the 8.2mm crank without the 67mm bbk.

Sounds great trying to decide between this and a 250cc scooter.

In looking at this the castings and machined parts appear to be beautifully finished (as you would expect for 1500 dollars) ....and speaking of a 250, why didn't they just make this a little bigger?

Yes the casting of the case and all are amazing quality compared to the OEM crankcases. as for making it a little bigger not sure. this is the biggest you can go on a GY6 150cc engine.

Wow. You found a old thread from like 3 years ago lol. THis 232cc mounts the same way any other GY6 150cc engine mounts. as for carb. Yes you need a bigger carb from stock. a 30mm to 32mm is recommended like the OKO Flatside carb. and yes a upgraded transmission is recommended. 232cc is the top of the line motor. You want to upgrade everything. BTW this post is so old that i dont sell these anymore and i have a new website.
