I just picked up this scoot and I am having some problems. After starting the bike gas pours out of the air intake. Could some of the gas lines be incorrectly installed? Or might there be a bigger problem that I don't see?

Sounds like it flooding, the carb bowl float is not shutting off the fuel when the carb bowl is full. You will need to take the carb off and the bowl and see why it is not shutting off the fuel. I could just be the plunger tip which is rubber is gone or deteriorated, Or the float is taking on gas or it is just that the inlet has a lot of varnish and not allowing it to seal. Alleyoop  |
