Instead of guessing use modeling clay. Look for clearance of .060" intake .080" exhaust .060" piston to head.

May I ask why not just get the proper head for a 52mm ? I mean yes you can get the stock head to work with and extra base gasket, it will also help lower compression to an acceptable level.. But you will never get as much out of the 52mm with a stock head as you can with the bb head, because the valves are smaller in size.
I know it's an extra expense, but well worth it I think...

The cheap eBay heads even the ones with matching combustion chambers have stock size valves, you will have to get one from scrappys or a ncy, hoca or naraku head to get bigger valves. I think ncy is the only one that makes 52mm heads with bigger valves. You will get more performance out of the stock head and a extra gasket than a 50mm head one gasket with stock valves. That kit is domed I got the best performance out of a 44mm big valve head two gaskets, you can't buy that though Buford specially made mine. Scrappy has the ability to make big valve heads in any combustion configuration from 39mm to 50mm since Buford does the heads shame they don't give that option a stock chambered big valve head and an airsal kit is a beast.

Yep Millsc, NCY is the only one i know of that makes the matching head for the 52mm kit, I have one... Have never messed with really any head but NCY, still running the NCY HP Cam too although I often wonder what it's equivalent in the A series cams would be..all it said on the box was it was for an 85cc, at the time I was pushing 95cc + the cc's of the head.. So I'm guessing i was pushing 100cc .. I was unaware the ebay heads had stock size valves, that's kinda a bummer but not surprising...
