Put a new plug in, and let it idle for about five minutes, plug looks like the old one I pulled. This whole thing has me baffled.

Feel a little dumb, but here's what happened. Thanks alley, you got me thinking. When I put the sock filter on I pushed it all the way to the end of the radiator hose, which cut my air, and made me run rich. Pulled the sock down a little and voila, back to normal. Thank you all for your help. Now I'll try the 30mm carb, but not for a couple of days; I need a break.

That 30mm is going to be a headache I knew after a few minutes of fooling with it i abandoned ship early. If it would of fit right I would of tried harder.

Yea, the fit is a little tricky for sure. But, after yesterday I can get it in and out in a jiffy... lol
