This is my new ride! I took the rear matching box off. I think it looks better this way. Ive had it 2 weeks and put 200 break in miles on it. Changed out the oil and gear case oil. It may be able to go with more miles which will let the piston move easier than when it was new and tight in the cylinder . My Echarm topped at 65 new but after 1,000 miles it would hit 70 . I got it to hit 75 after I replaced the rollers with DR Pulley sliders .
Yes I think scooters look sportier without the trunk but the trunk is a great item to have as you would not want to put food or a cold drink under the seat . The factory one and the Coocase both have quick release to remove the trunk while the bracket stays bolted on . Go up and down in the midrange and try not to stay at the same RPM or redline until you get more miles on it .
