If your going to go that far might as well take out the two engine bolts and put on a big bore kit

But that is less than a 1 in 100 chance I'm sure. Some have gone with heavier valve springs to avoid valve float from the high lift..but I have yet to actually see one suffer from that. I put an A9 cam in every gy6 50 that I 'Big Bore' cause like millsc says.. "If yer already in there..may as well do it all and be done" But I understand money limits.. I am a father of 6 kids..so been there Sir..

The kit works just fine comes with head new rockers and even the jet I have installed it many times big improvement over stock.

Yes use the stock cam does just fine the cam works to its full potential with a head with bigger valves, open air filter and free flow exhaust.

Stock pipe the big bore kit and an open air filter you'll be good to go.
