Two quick questions...anyone else have problems seeing out of their mirrors? I've tried various adjustments even using a wrench to loosen the bolt and move the mirror around. I am a larger guy so could be that. And second question...can you use rain-x on a g-max helmet?

NOOOOOOOO RainX it only works on glass not plastic . CycleGear sells Scotts Antifog which is what I use on my GMax helmet and eyeglasses . Try sitting different and adjust your mirrors I am 6ft4 and can see with my mirrors . Amazon has a tag camera and LCD display but you would have to custom fit it to be waterproof

I forgot to say I already tried it and dang it fogged up worse than without and took a while under hot water to wash it off . Use eyeglass cleaner for the shield NOT Windex or other ammonia based cleaners as it can damage the UV coating according to my optician . Clean it streak free and dry it then apply the Scotts Antifog . A coating can last up to a week less if you ride in the rain was only 5 bucks or so . CycleGear also sells a onetime use wipe for a dollar

I can't see past my mirrors either; it's just a size of body vs. scooter size thing; I have to get a hard lean on. I do use RainX on my cheap helmet faceshield and have had no issues and the water beads and rolls off pretty well... I hear a lot of mixed opinions on that.

My elbows get in the way of my mirrors occasionally, and if I slip into the "more speed forward lean" I really struggle to see them.
I've got a problem at the minute where my scoot was nocked over by a cager in a car park. Everything looked ok but they've damaged the right hand mirror and it keeps flopping down, so I'm forever adjusting it now.

Sounds like we all might benefit from those handlebar end mirrors.

its nice being small 5"6' 130lbs my chrome mirrors work great for me
but then again, if it would ever happen, & my scoot fell over id struggle to pick it up, whereas u guys would pick it up w/o any probs. the only thing i've ever used on my full face or other helmet, with visor is hot soapy water and rinse well

www.ebay.com/itm/280605987522?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649I have been using these, they dont seem like much but they do help. Just be sure to look through the ads to see if they have both sides that match your scooter, forward thread reverse thread, 8mm, 10mm. Mine is 8mm with one reverse thread. I bent one when I went down back in August and I had a machine shop guy at work straighten it - even with heat he was afraid to go 100% straight, so when I get the scooter out, one thing I'll be doing is swapping the extender to the right side so the tilt isn't an issue.
