Starter relay?
Hit the starter button and get a click, that's all. Will happen a few times and then the starter kicks in and everything is fine. Sounds like starter relay to me, everyone agree? Best place to buy one? Thanks!

Check the battery first . A bad cell can make a click sound when u try to start it . I would charge up the battery or take it to any auto part store as they test em for free and most charge for free . Check all the wires for a loose connection . Is this a new issue ?

I agree with above . NYCscooterparts.com will be a good place to buy one . John

You did read the part about the starter kicking in and working fine? This is not a battery issue.

It very well could be a battery issue. I have had low batteries do exactly that. Also by relay you mean solenoid right cause most often this is the issue. You can test the solenoid by jumping the points but I certainly would never recommend you guess without testing anything. The place to start with starter issues is always the battery or you could just through parts at it like you want to, the choice is always yours

Jump the solenoid with a screwdriver or anything and if it spins your starter nice and STRONG the battery is fine.
Also check the little red wire with the fuse connected to the Positive post of the battery make sure where it connects to the battery the wire is not frayed around the connector. This wire is very important it feeds 12v to the IGNITION KEY and when you turn the KEY to ON it feeds the Black wire to send 12v to any system that needs it. If it is a bad connector at the battery it will have a lot of resistance and will loose some of the voltage and can cause the click click click of the Solenoid. Alleyoop
