See now? Dave's got the perfect answer. Just rent the U-Haul. Boom. Problem solved. Even if you have to rent their small van 'cause you don't have a hitch, still worth it. Shouldn't matter if you set the bike on its side since you're just parting it anyways.

Just my quick .02 but u can just call your local PD or highway patrol office they will run a 1099 and tell u over the phone. This is common in Cali
