My project scooter has an alarm system and remote start.... Can I disconnect that system and chuck it? Do I have to do anything else to the wiring harness?

Find the alarm/remote start module and find the white plug for it. Unplug it from the wiring harness then check the wire colors if you have a brown/white and a black/white wire in the harness plug join them together with another wire. Or it may have grey and pinkish color wire connect those.
If the alarms have a fuse just remove the fuse and leave it plugged in.

I just placed the remote in the house and left the alarm alone. That was 5 1/2 yrs ago and have not had a problem. Just my 2 cents.

My alarm is mounted under the seat, the wiring is a cob job. It's a mess, and I want it gone...  |

Ok, so I took out the alarm... I didn't do the jump thing as you said alley, but everything works on the bike and it's charging... What do the wires you said to jump do?

Yes, my Roketa Bali 250 came with more wire harness than actually needed. I feel this was intended for in case I wanted to connect a different stereo, different lights, alarm, ect.. It is ok to disconnect from the harness..
