How much are you paying, and how many miles is on the Burgman? Paying $1998 plus taxes and a $400 shipping fee cause riding it with the weather lately would be a pain and it has 28,000 miles on it. CVT fully serviced (new clutch new rollers new belt) when the Marina that is selling it got it along with full checkup on everything else

This year, after 53 previous ones, I decided I needed experience "what the ride" was all about. Having never been a rider before, I too purchased Burgman AN400....08 model. I have had only one issue which was getting the rear tire off. The collar was stuck. After trying myself, I gave up and brought to a dealer. The shop I brought it to even had a hard time getting it off. I'm sure this is not a design issue. It's just I got "lucky". ;-) Some have mentioned the bike being heavy. I guess it's all relative. In the beginning it was a heavy bike for me, but as I have gotten more experience, the bike doesn't seem as heavy as it once did. Looking forward to your pictures It is heavy if you have to move it in tight spaces or load it regularly onto a rack or trailer. My first bike was 235 lbs and loading it was a breeze as was moving it around inside the garage, light enough that you could spin it around 180 degrees without taking it outside. The Aprilia Sport City 250 is 328 lbs and too heavy to easily spin around inside the garage so you have to take it out to turn it around and loading it on a rack is a lot harder for one person. The Burgman is 438 lbs which can be a handfull to load by yourself on a ramp style rack or on a trailer. Depends on your needs. I take mine camping transporting it on a ramp style rack and have to navigate a tight garage/driveway with 4 vehicles in it so over 330 lbs, along with my busted up left knee, long term wouldn't work out for me as a primary bike. If my main use was mostly medium interstate touring with no need to load/unload the bike for transport on a regular basis and I had a more spacious driveway/garage then that would be different. All things that need to be considered before making the purchase.

Wait. Is it goldish, or silver?
And what're those buttons between the handles?
Regardless, good looking bike. Now like spandi said, why haven't you ridden it? Where's the WHEE!!!!!! report?

Because i don't have plates on it yet is why no wheeee report. damn i am so wanting to though. i get temp tags for it monday or tuesday so i dont care if it is cold as long as no snow and roads are dry im going riding. and yes thats the radio and it is silver. the most i have got to ride it is to the end of the block since i am on a dead end street. my luck i pull on the main road and first thing i would have a cop behind me pulling me over for no tags

So temp tags came today and despite it being 22 degrees out I definitely rode and have to say I love it. I have to get used to the throttle a little coming up from a 50cc cause I barely need to get on it to get up to speed limit but man it's nice. Love that feel of being able to go. Don't care of my fingers are half froze now either lol. My gloves need a little more insulation. All I can think of to say really tough is yay and I freaking love it.

Great!....Now get some armored gloves. (in addition to staying warm, your hands will be protected)
