Hey guys, just wanted to show off the new ride in the family . She loves it and so do I! I just washed it today, didn't get to the waxing, need another day lol So far, 315 miles on one tank which isn't bad. I love this little car, wish it was mine lol.

I've had a PT cruiser before, the manual geared ones have quite some torque! Turn radius is very tight, but the tie rods go bad easily on those cars. Need wheel alignments almost every 3-6 months!
If you take off the handlebars, I think a small 50cc would fit (the 80% sized scoots, like a TaoTao ATM50)

My favorite part of the PT Cruiser is the dash. It resembles a dash from the late 30s and early 40s.

The pre-2003 models looked great, after that, they look more modern.

the rear seats fold down so you may be able to fit a small scooter in

The fun part is when you get to pull the engine just to change the alternator... Hope it goes well for your mom

NICE looking ride!
I well remember when the PT Cruiser first came out. They were getting $3,000 over FULL LIST PRICE just to place an order for one, with NO promise of delivery... Cheesh! Chrysler was REALLY on a retro-roll, on the heels of the fabulous Plymouth Prowler. They're STILL doing the retro revival with the Challenger. Everybody, young or old seems to love the 30's to 60's look, with modern running-gear underneath... The great thing about them is that they never go "out of style"... Now, if only Chrysler would re-introduce the Cushman Eagle, and Harley knucklehead! Our church got the Pastor's Wife a new PT Cruiser back around 2002. They moved away but last I heard, it had 250K miles on it, and was still running like new! Hope your Mom's is the same! I understand you liking it... I wouldn't mind having one myself! And, the little boogers are FAST! Nice looking "hood" too! (The real estate, not the car... LOL!) Ride retro...Leo in Texas
