I have a cn250 clone i can not get started im getting spark it really sounds like it doesnt have compression. But the piston and rings looked dam good when i put the motor back together. I used all new gaskets and sealed the motor with epoxy. Any ideas?

Test your compression, if you do not have a gauge use the old finger trick. Take the plug out, stick your finger in the hole hold it nice and snuge Open the Throttle and hold it wide open and crank it. If it has enough compression to start it will blow your finger off the hole if you just feel some pressure then not enough compression.
If you feel just some pressure pour a tablespoon of oil down the plug and try it again. If the compression gets better it is your rings that are leaking. Also have you adjusted the VALVES correctly bringing the Piston to top dead center. If the valves are not set right and are to tight they will not seal and you will lose compression also did you set the timing correctly. Alleyoop

Sorry but what exactly did you seal with epoxy? That isn't normal... Other than that yeah check your compression like Alley says. Why do you think it's low?

Theres not much when i put a finger over the hole. And my carbs getting gas plugs dry and its a new carb, im kinda stuck at adjusting the valves there on the rocker cover so you cant use feeler gauges and i guess ill try the oil trick . And i think its low because it sounds like a piston with no rings at all wen it spins over but the rings had alot of life on them

Does not sound good my friend did you move the rings around or something when you checked them or whatever you did? The rings have a gap and if the gaps are NOT offset from each gap the rings will not seal. In other words one ring gap is aligned with another ring above it or below it creating a straight open shot to the chamber(no compression).
Can you take a picture of the Valve Adjusters on the side of the Valve Cover? Just want to see where the adjusters are set at. Alleyoop
