I was testing weights today been running 13 gram sliders bought a set of 15 gram Dr pulley rollers to try I took it on a long flat run in a 50mph zone and the scooter bogged and died after about a minute of wot like it was out of gas. I've done this same run with 12 and 13 gram sliders and ran wot for several minutes no issue. Just thought it was odd it stalls with heavy weights I put my 13 gram sliders back took the run after the stall no issues. It took a minute or two to restart like the float bowl needed to refill. Btw the 13 gram sliders yielded the best results.

Heavier weights will put it in higher gear sooner and longer. Running it hard and way below the power band, (lugging the engine), it may have overheated, or loaded up and fouled the plug, (rich). Either way just stamping it's feet and telling you it didn't like it.
Sounds like you found the right weights. Ride happy.

It seemed odd just glad it restarted and I didn't tear up something that would cost money to fix and pushing is never fun
