"If you are a moped operator, you must follow the same traffic rules as other motor vehicle operators. A moped is a two- or three-wheeled vehicle with a motor not exceeding 100cc engine displacement. Yes I thought it was a typo when I saw 100cc..2bhp and 30mph or less? Just shows Law Makers will pass a Bill they know nothing about. The kicker is that if you are 16 you can ride a 140+ capable Crotch Rocket with no helmet..BUT if you are 19 or less you need a helmet for a Moped/Scooter. Say what?  |

If you geared a 100cc scooter to go no faster then 30 mph you would be able to keep the front wheel on the ground.
