not sure when I clean it sunday I will check it out, I never noticed it so I am guessing plugged, but I haven't specifically looked so I have to check it out - It sounds better on the video I think when I am driving it that whirring gets louder with higher rpms.

If it looks like this it is plugged: And you will never get it right unless you have access to the screw. So if it is plugged you have TWO choices either get an aftermarket carb or DRILL the plug out and hope the screw is behind it. Whenever you find a carb having the fuel ratio mixture plugged, they are set really LEAN due to EPA regulations. So you with a BBK and not even up jetted you are starving the motor for fuel. Alleyoop

If its plugged what you can do to help with more gas is cover a little of the air coming in. Use Duct Tape or something on the Tube inside the Air Box just cover the outlet tube 1/3 with tape and see if that helps feed it more fuel until you get either a carb or drill out the plug. Alleyoop

I would get a new carb that you can adjust the air/fuel and needle position since they are not that much .. Some even have the bowl riveted on instead of screws to prevent tampering with it . Here is some carbs compare yours with the photos as there is more than one type www.partsforscooters.com/Street-Scooter-Carburetors-and-Parts . A jet kit is a great investment as you have several to test and keep the extra ones for later tuning should you replace the exhaust or airfilter later and its cheaper than paying per jet price . Since your was jetting ( and already lean from the factory ) was for a 50 and now you have a BBK it is too lean , will run hot and has been well known to burn a hole in the piston . A larger main jet delivers more fuel so it performs better and runs a bit cooler . Remove the sparkplug and compare it with this chart www.4secondsflat.com/plug_chart.html If you get a new carb , jets or a jet kit I buy a couple of extra sparkplugs to do a plug chop . Once you install a larger main jet and it is running good ( too large it will sputter ) install a new sparkplug , run it down the street hitting top RPM and hit the killswitch . Remove the plug and compare to the same plug chart . Here is some more tuning tips www.provoscooter.com/tuning

Just broke down on me I heard a pop and then it shut off.. It cranked again with no whirring but then shut off again. Now it turns over but won't catch. I think when I had my BBK put on the tensioner may have been loose. Do u think it could be my timing chain slipping off?

Easy enough to find out, just remove your seat, then take the 4-6 bolts on your valve cover off, and look if the chain is still on.

I tried to remove the plug ,no luck Better to get a new carb for around $ 30.00.on e bay, After getting the plug out I found there was no slot in the screw .

Well, I checked the timing, the chain, the cdi replaced, the carb cleaned, the ignition coil replaced, check the transmission (clutch and variator) and still can't figure out what is wrong. I am going to have to bring it to a mechanic cause I need it... this is gonna be painful paying 2-300 for someone to fix something I could do myself if I knew what the was wrong with it. I will update you guys with the results after.
