2 different carbs-Deni and a Keihin with the same jets...the Keihin runs leaner. Both are 18mm as well and tried on the same bike.

Not really apparently one is made to flow air more efficiently. Or you didn't seal the connections well and you are sucking air in somewhere. Both quite reasonable non odd things...

I'm kinda lost on the whole thing you say you have a 150 then say it has a 18mm carb which would make it a 50 which is it is it a 50 or 150 hard to provide help not knowing what you have. If it is a 150 the small carb will ruin your scoot

You still did not say if it is a 50 or a 150 scoot......Big difference when asking for help on the forum.

You must have missed the previous threads.
He originally ordered a 50. But when it arrived the engine crankcase is stamped BN157QMJ. So they may have goofed.
Unless it's possible to put a 50cc jug on a 150cc case?

My 2T Scoot came with an 18mm Mikuni Carb..it ran lean with my BBK. Not having any bigger jets I swapped out the Carb with an Ebay 18mm TK clone of it. Using the same # jet..it then ran rich...dropping to a # jet it was right on. So obviously the Mikuni flows more air than the many Ebay clones of it do... Just the nature of the beast..
