I tested this on the center stand. It didn't really vibrate like when I'm riding it. I weight 230lbs. So I weigh quite a bit. Not sure if it's the cvt. took the cover off and rode today and it still vibrated loudly at 35mph and higher.

how many miles on the bike, and what kind of belt are you running? Also when did you check the wights last? Tires good?

how many miles on the bike, and what kind of belt are you running? Also when did you check the wights last? Tires good? The bike had 1500 miles on it. The owner basically ran it without oil then I got it and replaced the cylinder and piston, starts up and runs pretty good now. I have put about 200 miles on it since the rebuild. - It has the Original belt that comes stock with Short Case GY6. - Haven't checked the weights, because its so new I thought they would be fine. How do I troubleshoot this?

you have to open up the CVT case... You probably should anyway, alot of those stock belts are total junk. Get a gates powerlink. since it's a short case it's a 743-30-20. It's really easy. do yourself a favor and get an electric impact wrench and a set of impact sockets from harbor freight. You won't be sorry.
Here's a video on changing one...

Yes, the Impact from HF is $50,..$40 if you catch it on sale. I just bought one after my belt broke. It does a fine job on the variator. My next use for it, is going to be the clutch, next week. Then over to Stator and flywheel.
For the sockets, I use Kobalt from Lowes. You can get them separately for what ever job your doing. Prices are very reasonable also. I used a 17mm I believe for the variator.

Thanks guys. I did open it up and drove it all day open. Vibrated even more it seemed. I will change the belt this month. The inside of the cvt case was spotless as well. Really frustrating because I want this scoot to run perfect.
