GY6 Missing on Deceleration. I just put a new cylinder and piston in and its been running great. Its a ruckus clone with a gy6 short case 150cc engine. When I am giving it throttle it sounds good, but when I let off if really feels like its trying to slow down to a stop, I have no idea why it would be like this. Also, when I leave it idling the engine sounds like its not staying at a consistent rev, Also does this when I let off the throttle at low speeds and the bike jerks slightly as it decelerates. Any help would be great. Thanks!

From what I've read a couple of the old timers here post about tuning carbs, if you let off the gas and it increases speed, you are rich and letting off the throttle lets the air catch up with the fuel causing the increase in speed. You appear to have the opposite, being lean which causes your speed to drop dramatically when you release the throttle allowing more air in dropping the mixture below the 14.7:1 ratio.
TBH, I'm still getting a grip on the fine tuning, so hopefully someone with more experience can help more.

Thanks for your help. And to answer your question. There Is no backfire whatsoever. I ordered a new carb because they are only $30 on ebay. Hopefully that will fix it.
