i just recently put in a 70cc bbk and everything seems ok the only problem i am having is it revs up and when the variator shifts the rpms drop way down before going back up again, i was wondering if a heavier torque spring would correct this, right now i am running 4 gram weights it goes right up to 8400 rpms than drops to 6800 before rising again

lighter rollers would solve it.

I used 5 grams when mine was 50 but they were too light with a BBK as it would be like its under driven after going over 50MPH . If you replace the exhaust with an unrestricted some can handle up to 10,500 RPMS which is also the very max a stock crank should hit but not ride at as it will tear up . Some forged cranks can handle up to 18,000 RPMs which is almost Dremel tool speeds .
Stiffer springs would need heavier weights . The clutch springs would engage at a higher speed which would have a faster takeoff . Stiffer torque or contra spring may help if its slow going up a hill .
I put Dr Pulley sliders in my Echarm and it really was an improvement over rollers . I have 8 gram DR P sliders in my 2T with 70cc BBK , 1.5 clucth and torque and a Hoca bb torque base which prevents the spring from binding .
You may want to try 2 diff weights and compare as you can mix them up for example 3 5grams and 3 6 grams would equal 5.5 grams . Note mix weights of the same type not rollers and sliders mix
