I read in the Roketa 250 manual, that 110/ 12 front tire, is the size for the Roketa Bali 250. But on the tire size on the Roketa Bali 250 it says 4.00 x 12 tire. I investigated inched and metric tire size and for 4.00 x 12 tire is eqaul to 110/ 12 tires in metric. I got the metric 110/ 12 tire the other day and it is about a 1/3 inch wider than a 4.00 x 12 tire. Will that make a big difference in the way it fits on the rim? Thanks for responding. Attachments:

Now I know Roketa says this tire will fit, in the back of the owners manual. I decided to investigate what size of tire was on the Honda Foresight 250- front tire is 110/ 12.. I really can't tell the width of rim on the Foresight.

Measure the width with a caliper as it may only be wider past the outer edge of the wheel . Check the clearances as some can go a size wider tire while some it would scrub or not fit . Now this site has it very easy to look for tires sizes www.motorcycletire.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc? . What drove me nuts is all tires are not made in all sizes as like for cars . I had to use two diff tread patterns of Shinko tires since 16s are not as popular as the 3.5x10 or 130/60/13 like on my 2T . I really like the ride of the 13 inch doughnuts ( fat tires ) . Here is a visual graphic calculator that you can compare two diff sizes of tires beside each other that may be handy for many of us www.tacomaworld.com/forum/tirecalc.php

Well, there is about a 1/2 inch tire space between the old 4.00 x 12 tire and the fender. Maybe 3/4th.. I am not real concerned about this, because I am sure it will fit in. The width concerns me a bit more. It appears almost the same width as the rear tire. I looked at alot of tire comparison sites on the web, all say 110/ is the closest to 3.75/ 4.00.. But 110/ 12 is a wider tire than 4.00 x 12.. But that might not be to wide because my 4.00 x 12 tire has a good inch of side play on fender. But the only way to tell, is bring to a tire place to see. Now the computer said, the measurements were not 100%- just that they were as close as they could get. I still think it is worth checking out, because if it fits, I can buy $35 tires verses $80 from Roketa.
