I need a bigger scoot for long distance rides, mod 50's won't run that far without over heating. Want to get it plated&have insurance for it also. If I beef up my 63cc cops will be all over me here in Indiana, the State Cops are doing extreme inspections this spring! My 63 isn't even allowed on the road without plates&insurance, but the title says 49cc, Cops are running Vin no.s this year! Don't know about where you live??

I'm pretty content with my EVO150; however, if I knew then, what I know now, I probably would have gone for a Powermax. It's faster, It's got the same storage, It's lighter, Got better MPG's, And more than likely it's a lot easier to do maintenance on (the EVO is not hard, but it has too many hoses, and is a lot more complex than the avg chinese scoot).
So my vote goes for the Powermax. They're recommended by superiorpowersports; and usually when these guys recommend scoots, they're either good, or they need to get rid of inventory (and since the px150 is new, I'd say it's a good scoot)!

When they where new, they sold them for $599 + $60 insurance, and $249 shipping (<$900). After a week they where sold with 'free gloves', for $30 more expensive. Now they've bumped the price yet once more!
one thing that's nice, is when you register for a tag, you pay less taxes on a scoot that's $599 + $300 on insurance and shipping, than you would pay on one that's $650 + $150 shipping.
