Proof that inhaling gas fumes causes brain damage. I think this dude had a lil too much Toluene in his fresh air supply...even my Yamaha 2T DT250 Enduro couldn't top his Scoot...wow... grandrapids.craigslist.org/mcy/3986414878.html

oh! then he was doing 61-1/2 knots Has to be.. ;D I have the same exact Scoot..56mph is 10,000 rpm with stock gear ratio. Online calculator from another site shows it would have to spin 12,000+ rpm to hit 71mph. Also did research when buying my pipe...top of the line ones made 8.5hp with a 70 BBK..calculator shows you would have to make over 10hp to hit and maintain 71mph.

Don't you be teasin' 'bout no chicken strips, jersey! I'm betting mine aren't much smaller than his....
Meanwhile I'd guess he didn't understand the OUTSIDE numbers are KILOMETRES/hour, the INSIDE numbers are MILES/hour.
Meanwhile meanwhile, for $1700 he better be taking off those tacky stickers he's got all over his bike. Without ruining the finish.
sailer, I don't know how knots compare with miles/hour, but funny!

1 knot=1.15 mph,so 71.mph is roughly 61 knots+/- fractions I think he was running downwind IN the hurricane

With a price like that for a 71mph scooter he must have them lining up at the door dying to be the first one to buy it! ((* I can hardly contain myself!
