I just discovered by looking at the videos all posted on You tube and found that they were all done in 2009. Over four years ago and I searched long and hard and haven't found another Public Safety Warning as they called it since? Seems like a dealer here on this thread mentioned something about the Chinese coming a long way in the last few years? I also remember the market being flooded in 08 and 09 with Chinese scooters due to the $4 a gallon gas hike. Seems POC has went silent since then? JR So now we have the context of 4 years ago....would you now say he was telling the truth? |

he's trying to hoodwink the public....Not a good way to stay in business very long.If you see a guy condemning other products as a good business practice instead of standing on his own merits then I'll question your own ethics and call you very gullible. You watched a video of over four years ago to try to convince people here in this thread that Chinese scooters are junk and then telling me I think he's lying because that's what I want to believe? So I decided to watch another one of the videos: Now remember his introduction to every one of these, Hi this is the Pride of Cleveland bringing you another Public Safety Announcement. Scooter came to the shop as a "non runner" Broke cable, rusted chrome and wasn't running. How can a scooter that WILL NOT RUN be a safety hazard? You believe based upon you just think he's telling the truth and it's good business? As far as the maker of my scooters they are made by three different companies and we couldn't compare them to this scooter because he never told us the maker of this scooter and before you start just because a scooter is called say a Roketa doesn't mean Roketa made it, in fact Roketa makes no scooters at all and I own one of them. This shows your own lack of knowledge about these scooters. He also said the scooter that would not run was made by Roketa. Again Roketa is a seller, they make nothing. You seem to want to make me admit to something that you believe in and want me to come out and say someone is doing this or doing that? I said it was a sales hype and for whatever reason with very little proof you have just jumped on board to say this guy is helping the public and being a good honest dealer with no reason to bash these terrible scooters. Why did he stop making videos? Have all the junky dangerous Chinese scooters all of a sudden disappeared? Surely not? BTW since you seem to believe people in videos that you know nothing about and just see them as good old honest guys with no reason whatsoever but to help people stay safe from products that we don't have a clue as to who owned them, how they were maintained or treated, would you like to buy some swamp land in Arizona? What you're saying makes just that much sense. I think the purpose of this thread has been served and has no reason to go farther. JR |
