[replyingto=prodigit]prodigit[/replyingto]I do the same in corners and in the rain , these light weight scoots are dangerous on wet roads and if there is loose gravel esp in turns the front brake can cause u to take a fall

The arm is the only other way to tighten the rear brakes . Many say the back brakes suck on these scoots but have no clue you can adjust the aarm also . I was on of them. I couldnt believe how much pad was left after two yrs and 10000 miles . I was going to buy new brake pads until i looked at new ones at the locl moto shop and realized they werent even half worn. And i went back home and nptice the arm could b adjusted.

Dont get me wrong im not sayin the arm is the rubbing problem im sure the others are right about the uneveness of the wheel, im just sayin th arm is meant to be used to adjust and get the full use of the pads, instead of throwing away good brake pads.

Yeah, it takes quite some riding years, to kind of estimate road grip for 75% correctly; meaning most of the time I stay well below 25% of what I think the road's max grip would be in the situation. The more of a pro you are, the more you can estimate road grip correctly. But I'm not an expert at cornering to the point of losing grip.

[replyingto=prodigit]prodigit[/replyingto]I usually brake before the curve so im not on the brakes through out . But there are still times when braking is needed in curves. There is nothing like comin up on a cur to fast and realizing there is gravel or cinder matterial all over the road in the curve. It can get the adrenaline going. Lol

My scooter also have a front drum brake.
I'll try to find a new drum, or maybe see if it will level the unevenness by itself.
Thank you.
